  • Approval is emailed as a PDF — print it and carry it with your passport; officers at Jacksons International Airport check it on arrival

  • No separate service fee when applying directly through the official government portal (third-party sites may charge more)
  • Standard processing: 1-3 business days
  • No official expedited option — apply at least 1-2 weeks before travel to allow buffer time

  • Double-check your entry/exit dates match your eTA validity window
  • Keep a printed copy of your eTA approval — airline check-in staff may ask to see it before boarding
