Pakistani citizens can enter Seychelles visa-free, receiving a Visitor's Permit valid for up to 90 days on arrival at Seychelles International Airport.

What you need

  • Passport valid for the duration of the intended stay
  • Confirmed return or onward ticket
  • Proof of pre-arranged accommodation (hotel booking or confirmed address)
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the stay
  • Travel/health insurance covering the trip, strongly recommended by Seychelles immigration
  • No visa, photos, or biometrics required in advance; a Tourist Visitor's Permit is issued directly at the border

Visa types

  • Tourist Visitor's Permit: single entry, up to 90 days, issued free of charge on arrival for all nationalities including Pakistan
  • Business Visitor's Permit: same 90-day allowance, covers short business trips without paid local employment
  • Gainful Occupation Permit: a separate work-authorization application required through the Department of Employment for any paid employment

Entry conditions

  • No visa is required; immigration grants a Visitor's Permit stamp valid for up to 90 days directly at Seychelles International Airport (Mahe)
  • Travelers must show proof of accommodation and return/onward travel to be granted the permit
  • Paid local employment is not permitted under this entry
  • The permit can be extended in increments up to a total stay of one year by applying at the Immigration Division in Victoria before each extension period expires

Fees & processing time

  • Visitor's Permit on arrival: no fee
  • Extension fees: approximately SCR 2,000-3,000 (about USD 140-220) per extension period, processed within a few working days at the Immigration Division
  • No service-center or courier fee since the permit is issued directly at the airport

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Always carry proof of accommodation and a return/onward ticket, since officers can refuse entry without them even though no visa is needed
  • Pre-book accommodation for at least the first few nights, as Seychelles immigration checks this closely on arrival
  • Request extensions a few days before the current permit expires to avoid any overstay issues
  • There is no Seychelles diplomatic mission in Pakistan; pre-travel questions can be directed to the Department of Immigration by email
  • Seychelles' open visa-free policy applies to virtually all nationalities, making it one of the easiest Indian Ocean destinations for Pakistani travelers to visit
