Serbia Visa for Pakistan Citizens 2026

Visa Required

Pakistani citizens need a Serbian national visa before travel, applied for at the Serbian Embassy in Islamabad since Serbia does not operate a VFS center in Pakistan.

Guide last updated October 20, 2026. Always verify with official sources before travel.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure from Serbia, with 2 blank pages
  • Completed Serbian visa application form
  • Two recent passport photos, 35x45mm, white background
  • Proof of funds: bank statement for the last 3-6 months, or a sponsorship letter if hosted
  • Confirmed round-trip flight reservation and hotel booking or invitation letter
  • Travel health insurance covering Serbia, minimum EUR 30,000 coverage, valid for the full stay
  • Biometrics (fingerprints and photo) captured in person at the embassy

Visa types

  • Airport transit visa: single/double entry, fee EUR 35-60
  • Short-stay visa: single, double, or multiple entry, up to 90 days in any 180-day period, fee EUR 60-80
  • Long-stay national visa: for work, study, or family reunification, validity 90 days to 1 year, fee EUR 100-120
  • Business visa: single/multiple entry, requires a Serbian company invitation

How to apply

  • Book an appointment directly with the Serbian Embassy in Islamabad, as there is no outsourced visa center in Pakistan
  • Submit the application in person with all supporting documents and biometrics
  • The embassy forwards straightforward tourist applications for a decision without an interview in most cases; business or long-stay applications may require one
  • Collect the passport with the visa sticker directly from the embassy once a decision is made

Fees & processing time

  • Visa fee: EUR 60-80 (about USD 65-87) for short-stay, EUR 100-120 (about USD 110-130) for long-stay
  • No separate agency/service fee since the embassy processes applications directly
  • Standard processing time: 10-15 working days from a complete submission
  • No formal expedited service; apply at least 4-6 weeks ahead to allow for embassy review time

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply well in advance since the embassy processes applications in-house with limited daily capacity
  • The most common rejection reasons are insufficient bank statement history or an unclear invitation/sponsorship letter
  • A Serbian visa does not grant entry to Schengen countries, since Serbia is not a Schengen member
  • Confirm the embassy's current appointment and document requirements directly before applying, as these are updated periodically
  • Extensions beyond 90 days are only granted for exceptional circumstances through Serbia's Ministry of Interior
