Egypt Visa for Pakistan Citizens 2026

Visa Required

Pakistani citizens need a sticker visa from the Egyptian embassy or consulate before traveling to Egypt, as the e-visa and visa-on-arrival options are not available to Pakistani passport holders; standard processing takes about 5-10 working days.

Visa types

  • Tourist Visa: single entry, typically valid for a stay of up to 30 days

  • Provide the completed form, photos, passport, and supporting documents
  • Pay the visa fee as instructed, usually in cash or bank draft

  • No separate VFS/BLS service fee, as applications are submitted directly at the embassy
  • Standard processing time: 5 to 10 working days
  • Express processing may be available at the embassy's discretion for an additional fee

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply at least 3-4 weeks before your planned travel date to allow for standard processing
  • Common rejection reasons include insufficient proof of funds and an unclear travel purpose
  • Keep confirmed hotel bookings and return flight tickets, as these are closely checked during the application
  • Carry a printed copy of your visa and supporting documents for immigration checks on arrival in Cairo or other entry points
  • Extensions of stay can be requested at the Mogamma administrative complex in Cairo or local passport offices before the visa expires
