  • Schengen travel medical insurance, minimum EUR 30,000 coverage
  • Biometrics captured in person at the Swiss visa application centre unless already on file within 5 years

Visa types

  • Type C short-stay Schengen visa — single, double or multiple entry, valid up to 90 days within any 180-day period, the only practical route for tourism or business to Liechtenstein
  • Type D national visa — only relevant for longer stays tied to work or residence, processed directly by Liechtenstein's own immigration office after a separate residence permit application
