What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay
  • Completed visa application form
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host invitation)
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the stay
  • Return or onward travel ticket
  • Two recent passport-size photos (white background)
  • Biometrics: fingerprints may be taken on arrival at the port of entry
  • Travel health insurance is recommended

Visa types

  • Single-Entry Tourist Visa - valid for one entry, stay up to 30 days (extendable), fee approximately US$50
  • Multiple-Entry Visa - for frequent business travelers, valid up to 1 year, fee approximately US$100
  • Business Visa - requires an invitation/sponsorship letter from a Belizean company, similar fee to tourist visa
