Fees & processing time

  • No separate service fee when applying directly through the government portal
  • Standard processing: 3-5 business days
  • No official urgent-processing tier - apply early

Tips for Zambia travelers

  • Apply at least 1-2 weeks before travel to allow for processing and any requests for extra documents
  • Common rejection reasons: mismatched passport details, blurry photo uploads, insufficient onward travel proof
  • Only use the official evisa.gov.bh portal - third-party sites charge inflated fees
  • Extensions are possible through Bahrain's General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence before the eVisa expires
  • Keep a printed and digital copy of the approval, as it is required for airline check-in and immigration
