  • The traveller has no direct contact with DPRK immigration during the application
  • Approval and the loose-leaf visa are typically issued and collected a few days before departure from Beijing or Dandong

  • Visa handling is usually bundled into the tour package cost (packages commonly start around USD 1,000-2,000+ for a multi-day trip, excluding the international flight to Beijing)
  • Visa processing through the operator typically takes 3-4 weeks before the tour start date
