Application process

  • How to apply online: go to the official DR Congo e-visa portal at https://www.ambardc.org/ and start a new application.
  • Steps: create account > enter applicant details > upload documents (passport data page, passport-style photo, travel plans, accommodation/invitation, supporting financials if available) > pay online with a credit/debit card > submit.
  • Fee: pay the applicable e-visa fee in USD online; taxes or bank fees may apply via card processor.
  • Processing time: standard processing 3–5 working days; express/priority processing 24–48 hours available for an additional fee.
  • How approval arrives: you will receive the e-visa by email and can print a copy to present at entry; no stamp in the passport is required unless requested by immigration.

Tips for United Kingdom travelers
