  • Complete any required Bahamas health/arrival declaration online before travel to speed up processing
  • If approaching the 240-day limit, start any extension request at the Department of Immigration in Nassau at least 2 weeks before your authorised stay ends
  • Take out comprehensive travel health insurance including medical evacuation cover, given hospital capacity limits for complex cases
