Tips for Singapore travelers

  • Apply well in advance: Start the e-visa application at least 2–3 weeks before your planned travel date to account for any delays.
  • Common rejection reasons (Singapore-specific): Inconsistent personal details across documents, passport validity less than 6 months, insufficient funds evidence when requested, or mismatched travel dates between the invitation/booking documents and the application data.
  • VFS/BLS vs direct embassy: This is processed online via the official Togolese portal; no VFS/BLS submission is required for the e-visa. Do not submit through unrelated third-party services.
  • Travel advisories: Check Singapore MFA/Ministry of Foreign Affairs travel advisories and any health/entry requirements close to your travel date; ensure you meet any current health declarations or vaccination guidance.
  • Extension options inside Togo: Extensions of e-visas are generally not guaranteed; if you anticipate a longer stay, contact Togolese immigration authorities before expiry or consider re-applying for a new e-visa if eligible.
