How to apply online

  • Steps: select visa type (Tourist, Business, Student, or Work), complete the online e-Visa application with passport details, upload required documents (passport bio page scan, photo, accommodation or invitation letter, and travel itinerary).
  • Pay: online visa fee (fees shown in USD; local currency SSP equivalents shown during payment).
  • Processing: typical processing time is 3–5 business days; express/urgent processing may be available for an additional fee.
  • Arrival: you will receive an email with the e-Visa grant letter; print it and carry with your passport to present at entry, along with supporting documents.
  • Note: e-Visa is required for entry; there is generally no separate visa-on-arrival option for Singaporean passport holders.

Tips for Singapore travelers

  • Apply well in advance: aim to submit at least 2–3 weeks before travel to account for any delays.
  • Common rejection reasons for Singapore applicants: incomplete or inconsistent data, passport validity less than 6 months, passport name mismatch, photo not meeting the requirements, insufficient funds or missing travel plans, or missing Yellow Fever certificate when required.
  • VFS/BLS vs direct embassy application: use the official portal for e-Visa and avoid third‑party agencies; they may add extra fees.
