  • Student visa (eVisa): Official name: Student Visa (eVisa). Validity: up to 180 days or as per program. Max stay per visit: generally up to 90 days per entry. Entry: Multiple entries may be allowed with approval. Approximate fee: USD 150 (GYD 31,500).
  • Work visa/Work permit: Official name: Work Visa (via work permit). This is not issued via the online eVisa portal; requires employer sponsorship and separate processing with the Labour Department. Approximate fee: USD 150 plus work-permit processing as applicable.

Application process

  • How to apply online: 1) Visit the official eVisa portal at minfor.gov.gy and create an account. 2) Complete the online visa application form with personal, travel and passport details. 3) Upload supporting documents (passport biodata page, recent photo, hotel bookings or invitation letter, travel itinerary, bank statements). 4) Pay the visa fee with a credit or debit card. 5) Submit the application and note the reference number. 6) Processing time is typically 2-3 business days. 7) You will receive the eVisa by email if approved; print a copy to present on arrival. Visa on arrival: Not offered to Singaporean passport holders. How to apply for a sticker visa: Not applicable; Singaporean travelers use the online eVisa.
