Singapore citizens can apply for a Gabon e-Visa (Tourist or Business) online at https://evisa.dgdi.ga/; typical processing takes 2–5 business days, with Tourist e-Visa costing USD 60 and Business e-Visa USD 80, for single-entry stays up to 30 days.

What you need

  • Passport validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended arrival in Gabon and have at least 1 blank page.
  • Specific forms: The Gabon e-Visa is completed entirely online via the official portal; no DS-160, VAF1A or other country-specific forms are required.
  • Financial proof: Evidence of funds for the trip is recommended; a bank statement or credit card statements showing access to at least USD 1,000 per applicant is advised.
  • Accommodation and return ticket: Confirmed hotel bookings or an invitation letter, plus a return or onward flight ticket.
  • Photo spec: Recent passport-style photograph 35x45 mm (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), white background; digital photo in JPEG/PNG format, not more than 2 MB.
  • Biometrics: Not required at a visa appointment; online application includes photo submission; no separate biometrics visit.
  • Travel health insurance: Recommended to have travel medical insurance; not strictly required for the e-Visa.

  • Student e-Visa — Not currently offered via the online Gabon e-Visa portal; requires embassy/consulate processing if available.
  • Work e-Visa — Not available via the online Gabon e-Visa portal; requires embassy/consulate processing.

How to apply online

  • How to apply online: Go to https://evisa.dgdi.ga/ and create an account, then log in to start the application.
  • Steps:
  • Complete the online application form with personal details, passport information, and travel plans.
  • Upload required documents: scanned passport bio-page, passport photo, hotel bookings/itinerary, and return flight; optionally upload proof of funds.
  • Pay the visa fee online using a credit/debit card.
  • Submit the application and wait for the decision (2–5 working days); you will be notified by email and can download the e-Visa from the portal if approved.
  • How approval arrives: An electronic e-Visa document (PDF) is issued and/or made available on the portal; print a copy to carry for arrival.

  • Government visa fees (approximate): Tourist USD 60; Business USD 80.
  • Local currency equivalents (approx): Tourist ~39,000 XAF; Business ~52,000 XAF.
  • VFS/BLS service fee: Not applicable for online e-Visa; no separate third-party processing fee is listed.

Tips for Singapore travelers
