Application process

  • How to apply online:\n- Visit the official portal: https://www.prc.cm/ and create an account or log in.\n- Choose the e-Visa category that matches your travel purpose and fill the online form with personal and travel details.\n- Upload required documents: passport biodata page scan, a recent photo, hotel booking or host invitation letter, and return/onward flight details; for business or student/work categories, additional documents may be requested (invitation letter, admission letter, employer letter).\n- Pay the visa fee with a credit or debit card (fees are shown in USD and may be reflected in local currency on the portal).\n- Submit the application; standard processing time is around 2–3 working days.\n- Approval arrives by email as a printable e-visa PDF; print the e-visa and carry it with your passport when traveling.\n- Biometric steps: The online process uses digital passport data and photo; no separate in-person biometrics appointment is required for the e-visa.\n- Fee (local + USD): Tourist USD 50 (approx XAF 30,000); Business USD 100 (approx XAF 60,000); Student USD 75 (approx XAF 45,000); Work USD 150 (approx XAF 90,000). Express option: available for an additional USD 20 with shorter processing time.
