Tips for Singapore travelers

  • Apply well in advance: at least 2-3 weeks before travel; 4 weeks during peak seasons.
  • Common rejection reasons (Singapore-specific): incomplete documents, mismatched travel purpose, insufficient funds, travel insurance not meeting requirements, passport validity under 3 months beyond entry, or inconsistent travel dates.
  • Use official channels: e-Visa is obtained via e-albania.al; there is no routine VFS/BLS route for Singaporean applicants; check with the nearest Albanian embassy if you prefer in-person handling.
  • Travel advisories: Check Singapore MFA travel advisories and Albania's local safety guidance prior to travel; respect border and health rules.
  • Extensions inside Albania: Short-stay extensions may be possible by applying to Albanian authorities before your visa expires; approval is not guaranteed and depends on circumstances.
