Visa types

  • Visa-free entry: automatic for Hong Kong SAR passport holders, up to 30 days per visit, single entry per stamp
  • e-Visa (optional, if staying longer or for business): single-entry e-visa valid for use within 90 days of issue, allows a stay of up to 30 or 60 days depending on category, fee approximately USD 45-75
  • Ordinary visa at embassy/consulate: for stays beyond 60 days or multiple-entry needs, fee varies by duration and entries

Entry conditions

  • Hong Kong SAR passport holders may stay visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism or business purposes
  • Employment is not permitted under visa-free entry
  • Present your passport and, if asked, proof of onward travel and accommodation at the border
  • To extend beyond 30 days, apply at the State Migration Service office in Bishkek before the initial period expires, or exit and re-enter after the required gap
  • Overstaying can result in fines and entry bans on future visits
