What you need

  • 1-2 recent passport photos, 35x45mm, white background
  • Confirmed return ticket and hotel booking or invitation letter from a host in Bangladesh
  • Bank statement showing sufficient funds (last 3-6 months)
  • Biometrics (fingerprints/photo) captured at the mission or on arrival depending on the route used
  • Travel health insurance recommended

Visa types

  • Tourist visa: single entry, validity 3 months from issue, max stay 30 days, fee approx. USD 50-60
  • Business visa: single/multiple entry, validity 3-6 months, max stay up to 90 days, fee approx. USD 60-80, requires company invitation
  • On-arrival visa: available in limited cases at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for certain traveler categories, though most HKSAR travelers should secure a visa before departure
