Visa types

  • Tourist Visa: single entry, typically valid 30-90 days from issue with stays of up to 30 days, fee varies by category
  • Business Visa: single or multiple entry, requires an invitation letter from a Bangladeshi company or chamber of commerce
  • Visa on arrival is available at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for certain limited categories (for example business travellers with prior approval, or diplomatic/official passports) but is not the standard route for ordinary tourist travel and should be confirmed in advance with the authorities
