What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival
  • Digital passport photo and scanned passport bio-page
  • Confirmed return or onward flight ticket
  • Proof of accommodation in Suriname
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from a country with risk of transmission
  • Travel health insurance: recommended, not mandatory

Visa types

  • Tourist e-visa: single entry, valid for a stay of up to 90 days
  • Business e-visa: single entry, up to 90 days, requires a local business invitation letter
  • Multiple-entry visa: available on request for frequent travelers, at a higher fee
