  • Return or onward ticket confirmation uploaded with the application
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host address)
  • Passport-style digital photo uploaded with the form
  • No biometrics collected at the border beyond a photo check
  • Travel health insurance recommended, not mandatory

Visa types

  • Tourist ETA: single entry, valid 90 days from approval, permitted stay up to 90 days
  • Business ETA: same validity, requires an invitation letter from the host company

How to apply online

  • Apply at gov.kn at least 72 hours before travel
  • Upload the passport scan, photo, and travel details
  • Pay the authorization fee online by card
  • Approval is emailed as a PDF within 1-3 business days and must be shown at check-in and on arrival

Fees & processing time

  • ETA fee: approximately $35 (about €32) per applicant
  • Standard processing: 1-3 business days
  • No expedited processing option currently offered

Tips for Germany travelers

  • Apply before booking non-refundable flights in case of processing delays
  • Confirm the ETA covers travel to Nevis as well as St. Kitts if visiting both islands
  • Keep a printed copy of the approval, since connectivity for showing a digital copy can be unreliable at smaller ports
  • Direct enquiries to the St. Kitts and Nevis High Commission in London, the nearest diplomatic post, as there is no representation in Germany
