  • No specific photo requirement; standard biometric photo and fingerprint capture happens at the immigration counter on arrival

Visa types

  • Business visitors attending meetings or conferences also use the same 30-day visa-free entry; longer business stays or local employment require a 9(g) work visa applied for from Germany or converted in-country
  • The Balikbayan privilege does not apply to German nationals without Filipino family ties
