Tips for Germany travelers

  • Lesotho is landlocked within South Africa, so most travelers fly into Johannesburg first - check South African transit rules separately
  • Carry proof of yellow fever vaccination if arriving from an endemic country; not required for direct flights from Germany
  • Request extensions well before the 14-day period lapses, as overstay fines apply
  • Keep return tickets and hotel confirmations printed - border officials may ask for them directly
