What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from DR Congo
  • Completed online e-Visa application form
  • Digital passport-style photo (white background, taken within the last 6 months)
  • Scanned copy of your passport bio page
  • Proof of accommodation or an invitation letter for business travel
  • Proof of yellow fever vaccination (required for entry into DR Congo)
  • No in-person biometrics for the e-Visa itself, but fingerprints are taken on arrival at the airport

Visa types

  • Tourist e-Visa: single entry, valid for 90 days from issue, stay up to 30 days, fee around USD 100
  • Business e-Visa: single entry, valid 90 days, stay up to 30 days, fee around USD 130, requires a local business invitation
  • Multiple-entry e-Visa: available on request for frequent business travelers, higher fee and additional documentation

  • Approval is emailed as a PDF e-Visa, which you print and present with your passport on arrival

Tips for Germany travelers
