Visa types

  • Most German visitors need no visa at all, since tourism and business stays up to 180 days are covered by the visa-free arrangement. For other purposes, arranged via a neighboring Caribbean mission, as Dominica has no embassy in Germany:
  • Work Permit - required for any paid employment, arranged with a local employer
  • Residency status - for those settling long-term, including Dominica's citizenship/residency-by-investment programs
  • Short-term tourists and business visitors do not need to apply for anything before arrival.
