Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Apply at least 4-6 weeks before travel to allow for postal transit time between Egypt and Honiara
  • Common rejection reason: incomplete proof of onward travel or insufficient funds documentation
  • Consider using an Australia or UK-based visa agent, since direct postal applications from Egypt can be slow
  • Extensions of up to 3 months can be requested at the Immigration Division in Honiara before the visa expires
  • Keep printed copies of all correspondence, since approval is often issued as an emailed PDF
