Singapore Visa for Egypt Citizens 2026

e-Visa / eTA

Egyptian citizens need an e-Visa for Singapore, applied for online through the ICA portal before departure.

Guide last updated October 18, 2026. Always verify with official sources before travel.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay.
  • Completed online e-Visa application via the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) portal or an approved Singapore visa agent
  • Confirmed round-trip flight itinerary
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking) for the stay
  • Bank statements or proof of sufficient funds
  • Digital passport-style photo, white background, uploaded during the application
  • No in-person biometrics for the e-Visa application itself; standard immigration photo may be taken at Changi Airport on arrival
  • Travel health insurance is recommended, not mandatory

Visa types

  • Single-entry e-Visa: tourist/business, valid for use within 1 month of issue, permits stays up to 30 days, fee approximately SGD 30 (about USD 22) plus agent service fee
  • Multiple-entry visa: for frequent business travelers, valid up to 2 years, requires additional supporting documents and a higher fee
  • Transit visa: for travelers transiting Singapore, shorter validity and reduced fee

How to apply online

  • Apply through an ICA-approved visa agent or service bureau, since Egyptian applicants typically submit through a registered local agent in Singapore rather than directly on the ICA website
  • Steps: complete the online form, upload passport scan and photo, submit through the approved agent, pay the fee
  • Fee: approximately SGD 30 (USD 22) government fee plus agent service charge of SGD 20-30
  • Processing time: typically 3-5 working days
  • Approval is issued electronically and linked to your passport; carry a printout as a precaution for airline check-in

Fees & processing time

  • e-Visa government fee: approximately SGD 30 (USD 22)
  • Agent/service bureau fee: approximately SGD 20-30 (USD 15-22) since direct applications from Egypt go through approved agents
  • Total cost estimate: USD 40-50
  • Standard processing time: 3-5 working days
  • Express processing: available through some agents for an additional fee, reducing turnaround to 1-2 working days

Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Apply at least a week before travel to allow for standard processing
  • Common rejection reasons: incomplete financial documentation, unclear travel purpose, mismatched booking details
  • Use only ICA-approved visa agents listed on the official ICA website to avoid fraudulent processing services
  • Keep a printed copy of your approval and hotel booking for airline check-in and immigration at Changi Airport
  • Overstay or extension requests are handled directly by ICA in Singapore and are granted only in limited circumstances
