  • No separate business or student visa is issued on arrival; those categories require advance application through a Samoan mission

  • Issued at Faleolo International Airport immigration counter upon landing
  • Steps: present passport, return ticket and accommodation details to the immigration officer, complete an arrival card, pay the fee in cash (Samoan Tala or USD accepted at posted rates)
  • Fee: approximately SAT 100 (USD 37), payable in cash only at most counters
  • Processing time: issued on the spot, typically within 10-20 minutes depending on queue length
  • Queue tips: arrival queues are generally short since Samoa receives relatively few flights; have exact change ready to speed up the cash transaction
