  • Scanned passport bio-data page and a recent digital photograph
  • Confirmed return or onward flight ticket
  • Hotel booking confirmation for the duration of stay

  • Travel insurance recommended though not strictly mandatory for short tourist stays

Visa types

  • Tourist e-visa (single entry): valid for a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once inside Qatar, fee approx. QAR 100 (USD 27)
  • Tourist e-visa (multiple entry): valid for a longer period with repeated 30-day stays, fee approx. QAR 200 (USD 55)
  • Transit visa: short validity for travellers connecting through Hamad International Airport

How to apply online

  • Submit the application through Qatar's official Ministry of Interior e-visa/Hukoomi portal
  • Upload passport scan, photo, hotel booking and flight itinerary
  • Pay the e-visa fee online by credit/debit card
  • Processing typically takes 2-4 business days; approval is emailed as a PDF
  • Print the approved e-visa and present it with your passport on arrival at a Qatari port of entry
