  • Confirmed return or onward flight ticket.
  • Hotel reservation or address of your host in Gabon.

  • Fill in personal details, passport information, and trip details, then upload your passport scan and photo.

  • Print the e-Visa approval and carry it with your passport for check-in and arrival.
  • Apply at least a week before travel to allow for any processing delays.

Fees & processing time

  • Tourist e-Visa fee: approx. €70-90, paid online by card.
  • Business e-Visa fee: approx. €90-120.
  • No separate agent/service fee since the application is submitted directly on the government portal.
  • Standard processing time: around 72 hours (3 business days).
  • No official express option; apply early during peak periods.

Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Apply directly through the official evisa.dgdi.ga portal to avoid third-party sites that charge extra fees.
  • Double-check that your yellow fever certificate is valid, as Gabon checks this on arrival regardless of your e-Visa status.
  • Common rejection reasons: unclear passport scans and mismatched travel dates between the e-Visa application and flight booking.
  • Carry a printed copy of your e-Visa approval, since airline staff may ask for it before boarding.
  • If you need to stay longer than your e-Visa allows, visit the Direction Générale de la Documentation et de l'Immigration office in Libreville before it expires.
