Fees & processing time

  • Single entry 2-week eVisa: BHD 9 (about USD 24)

Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Apply online at least a week before travel to allow for processing delays
  • Make sure the passport scan and photo are clear and recent - poor quality uploads are a common cause of rejection
  • Keep a printed copy of the eVisa approval, since airline staff and immigration may ask for it before boarding
  • Business travelers should get the sponsor/invitation letter notarized to avoid delays
  • Overstaying is penalized with a daily fine, so extend online or at a police station before the eVisa expires
