What you need

How to apply online

  • Visit the official Indian e-Visa portal: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/
  • Select 'e-Visa Application'.
  • Fill in the online application form carefully and accurately. Ensure all details match your passport.
  • Upload your digital photograph and passport bio-page as per the specified formats.
  • Pay the e-Visa fee online using a credit/debit card. The fee is displayed in USD but may be charged in your local currency by your bank.
  • After successful submission and payment, you will receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email, usually within 72 hours (but can take longer).
  • Take a printout of the ETA and carry it with you. The actual visa will be stamped in your passport upon arrival at an Indian airport.
  • Upon arrival, proceed to the e-Visa counter, present your passport and ETA printout. Biometrics will be taken.

Tips for Angola travelers
