What you need

  • Digital passport-style photo

  • Multiple-entry e-visa: valid for up to 90 days with unlimited entries, fee USD 50
  • Business e-visa: processed under the same e-visa system with a business purpose declared, same fee structure
  • Traditional embassy visa: still available as an alternative for longer stays or purposes not covered by the e-visa

How to apply online

  • Apply through the official Vietnam e-visa portal (evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn)
  • Complete the online form, upload the passport scan and photo, and select the intended entry/exit points
  • Pay the visa fee online by credit or debit card
  • Track the application using the reference code provided; approval is sent by email as a PDF
  • Standard processing takes 3 working days for the standard service
  • Print the approved e-visa and present it with the passport on arrival
