What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date, with at least 2 blank pages
  • Completed Ukrainian visa application form
  • One recent passport photo (35x45mm, white background)
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter from a host)
  • Return or onward flight reservation
  • Bank statements for the last 3 months showing sufficient funds
  • Travel health insurance valid in Ukraine, minimum EUR 30,000 coverage
  • Biometrics not required for the standard national visa; in-person submission is required

Visa types

  • Short-stay (Type C) tourist visa: single or double entry, valid up to 90 days within 180 days
  • Business (Type C) visa: requires an invitation letter from a Ukrainian company or organization
  • Long-stay (Type D) visa: for work, study, or family reunification, requires supporting documents specific to the purpose
  • Transit visa: for travelers continuing to a third country through Ukraine

  • Book an appointment at the Ukrainian embassy or an authorized visa application center
  • Submit the application form, passport, photo, and supporting documents in person
