  • Multiple-entry ETA: available for frequent travelers, higher fee, validity up to 1 year with stays capped per entry
  • Long-stay visa (work/residence): applied for separately through the Ivorian consulate, requires local sponsorship

  • Apply through the official Ivory Coast e-visa/ETA portal (snedai.ci)
  • Fill in personal and travel details, upload passport scan, photo, and yellow fever certificate
  • Pay the fee online by credit/debit card
  • Receive the ETA approval by email as a PDF; print it and carry it with your passport
  • Present the printed ETA and passport to immigration on arrival; an entry stamp is issued at the airport

  • No separate VFS/BLS fee since the application is direct through the government portal

Tips for Algeria travelers

  • Apply at least a week before travel to leave a buffer for any document resubmission requests
  • Make sure the yellow fever certificate is uploaded clearly, as it's a common reason for delay
  • Carry both a printed and digital copy of the ETA approval when checking in for flights
  • Extensions can be requested at the Direction Generale des Affaires Politiques et Administratives du Territoire in Abidjan before the ETA expires
  • Register with the Algerian embassy in Abidjan if staying for an extended period
