Visa types

  • Tourist e-Visa: single entry, valid 90 days from issue, stay up to 30 days, fee around USD 100-120
  • Business e-Visa: single/multiple entry, requires invitation letter from a Congolese company, fee around USD 150
  • Transit visa: for onward travel within 48-72 hours, fee around USD 50

How to apply online

  • Submit the application through the DRC e-visa portal or the embassy's online request form
  • Upload the passport bio page, photo, and supporting documents
  • Pay the visa fee online by credit card or via the embassy's designated payment channel
  • Receive the e-visa authorization by email, typically within 3-7 business days
  • Print the authorization and present it with your passport on arrival at Ndjili International Airport (Kinshasa)
  • Final visa stamp and biometrics are completed at the port of entry
