  • Invitation letter from a host or company in Congo, or hotel booking confirmation
  • Proof of onward/return ticket
  • Bank statement or proof of sufficient funds
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate - mandatory, checked on arrival at Maya-Maya Airport (Brazzaville)
  • Biometrics (fingerprints, photo) collected in person at the embassy

Visa types

  • Tourist visa: single entry, valid up to 90 days from issue, max stay 30 days, fee approx USD 130
  • Business visa: single or multiple entry, valid up to 6 months, requires a company invitation letter, fee approx USD 150-170
  • Transit visa: for onward travel to a third country, valid 72 hours, lower fee
