How to apply online

  • Visit the official Kenya eCitizen portal: https://www.ecitizen.go.ke/
  • Create an account or log in if you already have one.
  • Navigate to the 'Department of Immigration Services' section and select 'eVisa'.
  • Choose the appropriate visa category (e.g., Single Entry eVisa, Tourist eVisa).
  • Fill out the online application form accurately with all required personal, passport, and travel details.
  • Upload your digital photograph and other supporting documents (passport bio-page, financial proof, accommodation proof, return ticket).
  • Pay the visa fee using a valid credit or debit card. Fees are usually charged in USD.
  • After submission, you will receive an acknowledgement. The processing time is typically 3-5 working days.
  • Once approved, you will receive an eVisa approval letter via email. Print this letter and present it along with your passport to immigration officers upon arrival in Kenya.
