What you need

How to apply online

  • Visit the official Uganda e-visa portal: https://visas.immigration.go.ug/
  • Create an account or log in.

  • Upload scanned copies of required documents: passport bio-data page, passport photos, invitation letter (if applicable), proof of accommodation, financial statements, and return ticket.
  • Pay the visa fee online using a credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard).
  • Submit the application.
  • You will receive an email notification of your application status. Once approved, you will receive an e-visa grant notice. Print this notice and present it at the port of entry in Uganda, where your biometrics will be collected.
