What you need

  • Note: Afghan citizens can apply for the Tourist e-Visa online. Other visa categories (e.g., Business, Education, Work) are not typically issued via the online e-Visa platform for Afghan applicants and usually require in-person processing at a Thai embassy or consulate.

How to apply online

  • Steps: 1) Enter personal details and passport information; 2) Upload required documents (passport page, photo, travel itinerary, hotel booking, financial evidence); 3) Pay the visa fee online with a credit or debit card; 4) Submit application;
  • Approval: You will receive the result through the e-Visa portal or by email; download and print the e-Visa to carry with you.

  • How approval arrives: A digital e-Visa document is generated and downloadable from your eVisa account or sent by email after approval.
