  • Accommodation and return ticket: Proof of accommodation is not mandatory but recommended; a return or onward ticket is advised.
  • Photo spec: Passport-style photo 35x45 mm on a white background; digital photo in JPEG/PNG format; max file size typically 2 MB.
  • Biometrics: Biometrics are not required during online e-visa application; immigration may collect biometrics on entry if requested.
  • Travel health insurance: Recommended but not mandatory.

  • Transit visa (Visa de transit): Official name: Visa de transit; Validity: up to 7 days; Max stay: up to 7 days; Entry: Single; Approx fee: USD 20 (GNF ~190,000).
  • Student visa (Visa d'études): Official name: Visa d'études; Validity: 6–12 months (extendable through immigration); Max stay: up to 12 months; Entry: Single; Approx fee: USD 150 (GNF ~1,425,000).

How to apply online

  • Steps: Create an account → complete applicant form → upload required documents (passport scan, photo, travel itinerary or hotel invitation) → pay the visa fee online with a card → submit and track status.
