What you need

Application process

  • How to apply online: The e-visa application is completed on the official Ghana e-visa portal accessible via ghana.gov.gh. Steps: 1) Create an account; 2) Start a new application; 3) Select Afghanistan as nationality and choose visa type; 4) Upload documents (passport bio page scanned copy, a recent photo, hotel booking or invitation letter, evidence of funds, and travel itinerary); 5) Pay the visa fee online with a credit or debit card; 6) Submit and wait for confirmation; 7) You will receive an e-visa approval letter by email; 8) Print the letter and carry it to Ghana; 9) Upon arrival, present the printed e-visa along with your passport; 10) Immigration officers may request additional documents.
