How to apply online

  • Step 1: Create an account or log in on the e-visa portal.
  • Step 2: Choose the e-visa type (Tourist or Business).
  • Step 3: Fill in applicant data accurately in the online form.
  • Step 4: Upload required documents (scanned passport page, digital photo, hotel confirmation or invitation letter, and return flight itinerary).
  • Step 5: Pay the government e-visa fee online using a card or supported payment method.
  • Step 6: Submit the application and wait for confirmation; typical processing time is 3–5 working days.
  • Step 7: Receive the approved e-visa by email as a PDF; print it and carry it with your passport.
  • Step 8: On arrival, present the printed e-visa and your passport to border control.

Tips for Afghanistan travelers
